I joined the group back in 2007. I love the concept of the group, its quality and diversity, and last but not least, the very friendly atmosphere!

It's Pad Ga-prao: Thai spicy beef with holy basil and tons of chillies!

There's something called “shop till you drop” LOL! Seriously, I'd buy a plane ticket and travel!

Congee! On the sweet side it would be apple pie.

Winter because it's magical and I do love cold weather.

Photography! Then reading, traveling, cross stitching.

I've been blogging for a very long time, and enjoy it tremendously. It started with a blog-journal, mainly for myself. Then an all photography blog and now the current food blog. I guess I like to categorize, so I have many blogs! My favorite post in my food blog is Blackberry jam.
What’s your favorite cookbook for desserts/baking? What’s your favorite cookbook for savory/cooking?
101 fuss-free bakes (Hilary Biller-Jenny Kay-Elinor Storkey) for desserts/baking. A beautiful book with great recipes. As for savory/cooking, I have all the troubles in the world to single out one. But for a long time it used to be Malulee Pinsuvana's Cooking Thai Food in American Kitchens (book 1). The recipes are awesome. I tried almost all of them, and I've got the stains to prove it!
Is there one food that you seriously dislike/hate? If so, which is it and why?
- Eels. I'm ophidiophobic, that says it all...
- Marinerede sild (aka cured herring) It has definitely something to do with the marinade, though I can't really pin point what.
That being said, I am a fish lover and would go for freshly caught fish any day! Just as I love klippfisk, sardines, tuna and anchovies. But eels and marinated herrings? Sorry...

Do you have a favorite local restaurant? If so, why is it your favorite and what kind of food is served there?
Café Blink, located in the fisherman's village named Dragør, in Denmark. It's not too far from where I live and they serve typical Danish food. My favorite is the deep fried breaded fish, with an awesome mixed salad with rémoulade à la Danish.

Oven roasted chicken and mixed salad. I prepared it myself.

Both pastels and earth tones.
If you had the choice of a free kitchen, bathroom, living room or bedroom makeover – which would you choose and why?
I'd say bathroom. I think the time spent in there is so personal that everyone should enjoy it in a very cozy atmosphere.

I'd say neither. Just a woman.
Do you watch any competitive cooking shows? Like Top Chef or Hell’s Kitchen? If so, which is your favorite and why?
I love cooking shows and yes I watch Top Chef, Hell's Kitchen, Master Chef etc. My favorite is Master Chef because I think the challenges are simply thrilling and the participants are pushed to be more creative.

“Sweet”: nutmeg - “savory”: anise
If you could eat in any celebrity chef’s restaurant which restaurant would it be, and which chef owns it?
Definitely Anthony Bourdain's.
What’s your favorite herb to cook or bake with? Do you prefer fresh or dried?
I love rosemary, especially in lamb and it must be absolutely fresh!

Vinaigrette for salads. I always prepare a quantity good for 2 or 3 servings and save it in the fridge.
